|Since my high school introduction to digital art I have been enthralled by the level of both control and detail computers provide. The ones and zeros of digital image processing are endlessly mutable. This property allows artists a degree of control over their work not seen before the information age. As my art progressed it required me to expand my knowledge of the programs and methods that would bring each work to fruition. At the same time, my expanding knowledge of the various digital imaging programs spurred my art in new and unexpected directions. Works ranging from print to video have emerged from my mind in a way that would not have been possible without this digital intermediary.
